Agriturismo in the heart of Piedmont for pure relaxation
This is an ideal agriturismo for those who want to escape the crowds and relax in the Piedmont countryside. Everywhere the emphasis is on relaxation, in the restaurant, by the pool and in the spa.
The agriturismo, a renovated farmhouse in traditional Piedmont style with a large courtyard, is beautifully situated on a hill. Due to its central location in the heart of Piedmont it is an appropriate starting point for day trips to Asti, Alba, Monferrato and Acqui Terme.
Wine is produced in this area: this is after all Piedmont. So the agriturismo is surrounded by vineyards. They produce a number of well-known wines such as Barbera, Dolcetto and Moscato. Besides wine they also have fruit trees, a large vegetable garden and a hazelnut orchard. All products of the agriturismo are organic and they try as much as possible to be self-sufficient in energy and hot water (that's why the rooms do not have air conditioning).
The rooms & apartments
In total, there are nine rooms of various sizes (22-35m2), a spacious suite for max. 4 people and a one-bedroom apartment. Some rooms have a private balcony or terrace with table and chairs. The suite and apartment have a kitchenette.
Restaurant, spa & pool
The agriturismo has a cosy lounge built around a fireplace, with a small bar for a cappuccino or aperitivo. In the restaurant, where the breakfast buffet is served every morning, they serve mainly local Piedmontese cuisine. In fine weather guests can dine in the cortile (courtyard) beside an ancient olive tree. In the old cellar of the farmhouse is a small spa (140 m2), overlooking the hills, with a massage room, Turkish bath, therapeutic showers, jacuzzi and relaxation area,. In the garden is a swimming pool with a panoramic solarium with sunbeds.
