Lovely agriturismo with restaurant between olive groves in the Marche

I visited this agriturismo during the olive harvest and so I was lucky to see it from up close. The owner proudly showed me around in the olive mill and offered me his freshly pressed olive oil to taste. In total there are 26 hectares of olive groves and they have their own olive mill, where from October till December the olives are pressed. In addition to various types of olive oil they grow corn and lavender and they have a large vegetable garden. The fruit and vegetables are used in the restaurant and guests can also pick the fruit and vegetables themselves. The lavender they use to make their own line of cosmetics.

The agriturismo is situated among the olive groves and lavender fields just a few kilometres from the beach and the city of Ancona. In 20 minutes you can reach the beautiful sandy beaches of the Conero National Park. The agriturismo is very centrally located to explore the beautiful region of Marche. If you want to organize a boat trip, go out to discover different beaches or take a bicycle tour, at the reception they will be happy to suggest the most suitable excursion. 

Comfortable rooms

The agriturismo has 7 double or triple rooms, 4 comfortable suites and one apartment. All accommodations are modernly furnished with private bathroom, satellite TV, wifi, air conditioning and minibar. Each room has a private terrace with table and chairs. The suites and the apartment have a table with chairs in the garden. Upon request, the rooms can be connected, making them suitable for a party of 4 people.

Pool and restaurant

The agriturismo has two swimming pools. One pool is next to the standard rooms and has a sun terrace overlooking the agriturismo and the surrounding hills. The other pool, recently built, is near the suites and the bistro. It is an infinity pool, heated a few degrees, also with a sun terrace with loungers and parasols. The infinity pool is only accessible to guests of the agriturismo, while the other is also accessible to guests of the restaurant.

The bistro restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch, a delicious aperitif or dinner. The pasta, bread and focaccia are homemade. The fruits and vegetables from the garden are also used in the restaurant. It is one of the best restaurants in the area and on the day I was there, the restaurant was filled with locals. A good sign!
There is also a store where you can buy the products of the agriturismo.
