Agriturismo with relaxed atmosphere and good cuisine
In many ways, this is a special agriturismo. When you arrive you will find yourself in a large lobby made of wood and glass with stunning views of the vineyards and the surrounding hills. You will immediately be aware of the delicious sweet and sour smell of balsamic vinegar, which they produce at the agriturismo. Separated by a wall of glass you will see an enormous cellar full of small wooden barrels. Here the balsamic vinegar is maturing, sometimes for up to 12 years or even longer. The agriturismo also makes first class Lambrusco, the famous wine from this region. Upon request, they will also organize a wine tour and balsamic vinegar tasting.
At the reception you can buy the products of the agriturismo and there is a bar which is open all day. The restaurant has a very good kitchen, where of course they use their own products. On the menu you will find many specialties with ingredients from this region, such as Prosciutto Crudo di Parma D.O.P. (Parma ham) and Parmigiano Reggiano D.O.P. (Parmesan cheese). Emilia Romagna is also known for its pasta (tortellini, for example), which is still traditionally handmade at the agriturismo. In the area you can hike, cycle (the agriturismo has a number of mountain bikes) or you can visit the cities of Modena, Parma and Bologna. For Ferrari lovers there is the Ferrari museum, located only 5 km away! And it’s only 10 minutes by car to a beautiful golf course. It is also possible to visit a Parmigiano Reggiano cheese factory
Swimming pool and spa
The agriturismo has a large panoramic swimming pool which is only open for guests of the agriturismo. The pool has a solarium with umbrellas and sunbeds. There is also a small spa with sauna and Turkish bath for exclusive use of the guests (included in the price).
Suites and restaurant
The agriturismo has 8 spacious suites, all located on the ground floor. The entrance to the accommodation is directly from the balsamic vinegar cellar and each room has a private terrace overlooking the vineyards. The suites have a large double bed and an open loft with a sofa bed for 1 or 2 people and are equipped with air conditioning, TV, hairdryer, safe and minibar. In the morning they serve a breakfast buffet with local products and homemade cakes. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner.
In short
This agriturismo is the perfect place for those who want to discover a rather unknown region of Italy or who simply want to relax for a few days and enjoy the good cuisine of this agriturismo.
