Luxury Farmhouse - Agriturismo in a converted watermill in Tuscany
This agriturismo belongs to the same owner as agriturismo number 35 and is located on the outskirts of the village of Rapolano Terme, along the road that leads to the village and near the superstrada to Siena. It is an old watermill and is therefore next to a river. A few years ago, the owner had the farmhouse carefully converted into apartments and rooms. In 2011, they welcomed their first guests.
Rapolano Terme is famous for its thermal baths. It also has some shops and restaurants. Asciano, a slightly larger town, is located approximately 7 kilometres from the agriturismo. Siena is less than half an hour away.
In the garden there is a swimming pool with jacuzzi, there is a communal barbecue and a breakfast room, where the property’s own olive oil and wine are sold.
The apartments and rooms
The agriturismo has 6 apartments and 5 double rooms. Each apartment has its own private garden or terrace with table, chairs and parasol. All apartments have TV and a good kitchen with 4-burner stove, oven and microwave. The larger apartments also have a dishwasher. The suites are all located on the ground floor and have a private bathroom and a small terrace overlooking the river. There is a shared washing machine and dryer.
In short
A comfortable agriturismo with a good pool and attractively decorated rooms and apartments. Not the quietest agriturismo on my site, but easily accessible and therefore ideal as a starting point for day trips.
