Luxury agriturismo for beach lovers

Not very often have I seen a lovely agriturismo within walking distance of a large sandy beach. And this one even has its own beach bar, with sunbeds and umbrellas. I was pleasantly surprised! The beach is also very popular with locals from nearby Noto, the famous baroque town about 20 minutes drive from the agriturismo. They still grow their own vegetables in greenhouses on the 20 hectares of land surrounding the agriturismo. The tomatoes - this is the area of the famous Pachino tomato - peppers, courgettes and eggplants are mainly used in the restaurant of their own beach bar. There is also an orchard planted with citrus trees and there are lovely old olive trees on the property. 
Depending on the season and availability, guests of the agriturismo may ask at the reception for some fruits and vegetables from the agriturismo.

The sea is only 1.5 km from the agriturismo and via a path, largely on their own grounds, you reach the beach on foot. There are regular and electric bicycles for rent for the guests. Charming towns like Noto, Scicli, Modica, Ragusa Ibla and Siracusa can all be reached in less than an hour. Marzamemi, a charming fishing village that today has more restaurants than fishermen, is also not far away.

Pool and Bar-Restaurant

The agriturismo has a nice big swimming pool, with shallow area, which is very suitable for children. There is also a hydromassage area. The swimming pool has a bar-restaurant with a covered terrace and is open in summer. In spring and autumn the bar-restaurant is open only according to the weather conditions and the number of guests at the agriturismo. In the morning you can enjoy a breakfast buffet. If you want to have lunch, you can eat something light such as: sandwiches, salads, fruit, focaccia or a granita. In the evening, the bar-restaurant offers an à la carte menu with meat or fish. There is something for everyone! Throughout the day you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink.

The bungalows

There are in total 14 luxury bungalows each with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a living room with a small open kitchen. The bungalows for 4+1 persons have a large veranda with table and chairs, sun loungers and a large private garden, which guarantees your privacy. The smaller bungalows (those for 4 people) have a smaller veranda and a small private garden. All bungalows have air conditioning and ceiling fans; the larger ones also have a dishwasher, barbecue, outdoor shower and private parking. 

The rooms 

There is also a B&B with 9 rooms, for 2 or 3 people. The rooms have a private bathroom and are equipped with air conditioning. Some rooms are located on the ground floor and have a terrace. There are also a few rooms on the first floor. Two of these rooms can be connected through a connecting door. Ideal for a family! There is a shared living room where breakfast is served in the morning.
