Small country hotel in a wonderful location on Lake Como

If you know MyItaly, you will know that there are no hotels on my site. But for this small country hotel I like to make an exception, because of its unique location right on Lake Como. I consider this part of Lake Como my second home, because I myself spend my holidays here. I know the people there and the most beautiful places. Immediately after it opened I visited the hotel and spoke with the owner Giovanni.

The hotel is newly built with natural materials (stone, wood) in a rural green area, situated directly on Lake Como. A path beside the lake leads to the nearby village, which has  a charming promenade with a number of shops, (wine) bars, cafés, restaurants and a fantastic gelateria (at the very end of the promenade). There is also an excellent bakery and a supermarket in the village. Near the hotel is a sailing school and boat rental.

Pool & Bar

The hotel has a large swimming pool (18x10m) with beautiful views of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains. There is a shallow area for children and a Jacuzzi area. In the evening, the pool is nicely illuminated in different colours . There is a bar with terrace by the pool.

Rooms , Suites & family rooms

The hotel has a total of 22 rooms, all with views of the lake, some from the front and some from the side. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, 32" TV, minibar, safe, beds by Simmons and a bathroom with shower (90x110) and hairdryer. Some superior rooms have a private terrace with table and chairs. There are also a number of family rooms (2 adults + 2 children) and suites.

In short

Not an agriturismo, but a comfortable little country hotel, rurally situated in a unique location right on Lake Como. Swimming pool with stunning views and a charming village in walking distance (about 1 km). A unique location and a very nice hotel, so for once I like to make an exception!
